Hello, I am Peter Gorgone, a Los Angeles-based freelance web developer with over 15 years experience in the software industry. I build and maintain LAMP-based websites (PHP, MySQL, Apache, Linux), making use of open-source resources to create state-of-the-art websites and web applications.

My background is Computer Engineering, and before building web sites I developed software for set-to-boxes and other video systems. Thus I possess a deep understanding of concepts like software architecture, design patterns, and data structures that most web programmers lack. My career in software started back in my junior high school days when I received a Commodore 64 and taught myself BASIC.
